Girl Scout troops are invited to board the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum and take part in a full day of interactive activities at “Girl Scout Day” Saturday, February 7th from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM at the Intrepid, Pier 86 (46 Street and 12 Avenue), Manhattan.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 7TH
Troops Invited to Participate in Full Day of Activities
The exciting day of demonstrations, hands-on activities and experimentation will address topics ranging from star formation to celestial navigation to rocketry. Junior scouts can earn points toward aerospace, discovering technology, science discovery, science in action and sky search badges. Senior scouts can earn points toward inventions & inquiry, math & maps, museum discovery and space exploration badges.
Registration fee is $12 per child. For $14, a scavenger hunt throughout the ship is included. Reservations can be made by calling (646) 381-5010. Reservations are required and should be made by January 30, 2009. Please note, reservations are booked by troops, not individual scouts.
