Friday, May 28: Cast members from current Broadway shows “American Idiot,” “The Addams Family,” “Promises, Promises,” “Memphis” and “Lend Me a Tenor” will perform at 2:00 PM.  Demonstrations of military skills will take place on the pier from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.  Museum is open from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.  At 8:00 PM, the Intrepid Summer Movie Series kicks off its series of free public film screenings on the flight deck with a screening of the classic film Top Gun.  Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.  Visitors are encouraged to bring food and beverages to the screening, however alcohol is not permitted.

Saturday, May 29: Cast members from the Broadway musical “Wicked” will perform at Noon.  Tug of war competitions between groups of visiting marines and sailors will take place from 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM.  Demonstrations of military skills will take place on the pier from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.  The West Point Jazz Knights will perform at 2:30. Museum is open from 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM.

Sunday, May 30: Representatives from the Military will compete against each other in inflatable jousting from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM.  Demonstrations of military skills will take place on the pier from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.  Museum is open from 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM.

Monday, May 31: Memorial Day commemoration ceremony from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM.  The service will include the unfurling of a 100-foot American flag on Intrepid’s flight deck, the playing of Taps, a ceremonial wreath laying, 3-volley rifle salute and a military flyover.  Free with price of admission to the museum.  Demonstrations of military skills will take place on the pier from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.  Museum is open from 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
