Registration is open for Camp Intrepid 2014, and it is the last week for the Early Bird Rate for spring sessions.
The themes for the spring sessions of Camp Intrepid are Intrepid Avengers (March 17-21), Life at Sea (March 24-28) and Dark Side of the Moon (April 14-18), which explores how the moon, sun and earth’s rotation affect our everyday lives. The $450 rate for week-long sessions expires on March 7.
Regular registration is also open for the Intrepid Museum’s week-long summer camps, which start June 16. Themes for Camp Intrepid Summer 2014 include Journey to the South Pacific, Intrepid Undercover, Pirate Life, Space Exploration, Hudson River is Our Home and more! Additionally, applications are now open for the Intrepid Museum’s Camp GOALS for Girls 2014 program. Camp GOALS is a free 6-week camp for girls entering the 9th or 10th grade in the fall of 2014, featuring hands-on activities and field studies focused in the fields of aviation, environmental science and engineering, marine science, fashion and science, medical science, and space and astronomy. Applications are due March 15.
