“SALUTE TO FREEDOM” AWARDS AT INTREPID SEA, AIR & SPACE MUSEUM
The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum will honor Dr. Henry A. Kissinger, 56th U.S. Secretary of State, and Mr. David Koch, Executive Vice President and a board member of Koch Industries, Inc., at the 22nd Annual “Salute to Freedom” Dinner, to be held on Thursday, May 23 at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, located at Pier 86 (46th Street and 12th Avenue), Manhattan. Cocktails begin at 6 PM and the dinner and awards program runs from 7 to 10 PM.
Dr. Kissinger will receive the Intrepid Freedom Award, presented to a national or international leader who has distinguished himself in promoting and defending the values of freedom and democracy, the core beliefs of our nation. Mr. Koch will receive the Salute Award for in recognition of his business achievements and support of important philanthropic activities.
Intrepid will also honor Audrey Fisher with the Lifetime Achievement Award, presented to a person who has performed outstanding service in her field. Ms. Fisher has dedicated her life to supporting the military and veterans’ families.
