AT THE INTREPID SEA, AIR & SPACE MUSEUM

Peter Fitzpatrick, President, Allied Management, and General Joseph F. Dunford, Commandant of the United States Marine Corps will be honored at the 239th United States Marine Corps Birthday Gala, to be held on Thursday, November 20 at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, located at Pier 86 (46th Street and 12th Avenue), Manhattan. Cocktails begin at 6:30 PM and the dinner and awards program runs from 7:30-10:30 PM.

Funds raised from the event will benefit the Bob Woodruff Foundation and the Fisher House Foundation.

Mr. Fitzpatrick will receive the "2014 Corporal Allen J. Striffler Marine for Life" Award, presented to an individual who has personified distinguished service to the nation driven by moral and ethical values that are the pride and strength of the United States Marine Corps. General Dunford will give remarks as the evening's Military Guest of Honor.

Former and active duty Marines will attend the event, which will include USMC Drum & Bugle Corps Concert and Cake Cutting Ceremony, and a special USMC coin distribution.  The formal program will also include remarks by Intrepid Co-Chairman Ken Fisher, as well as Dinner Co-Chairmen Harvey Keitel, actor and producer, and Gerry Byrne, Vice Chairman, PMC. Bob Woodruff, ABC News correspondent and cofounder of the Bob Woodruff Foundation, will serve as Master of Ceremonies.
