WITH WREATH-LAYING CEREMONY

The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum will host a wreath-laying ceremony to commemorate the 73rd anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor on Sunday, December 7, from 11:00AM-11:30AM at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, located at Pier 86 (46th Street and 12th Avenue), Manhattan.
Pearl Harbor survivors from the New York metropolitan area and former USS Intrepid crewmembers will participate in the event. The ceremony, taking place on the ship’s fantail, will begin with the Presentation of the Colors and the singing of the National Anthem.
Pearl Harbor survivor Clark Simmons, Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum President Susan Marenoff-Zausner, and Captain Philip Roos, United States Navy, will each deliver remarks.
The ceremony will conclude with a commemorative wreath laying in the Hudson River.
Multiple Pearl Harbor survivors will be in attendance. Interviews with the survivors and speakers will take place from 10:00AM-10:45AM inside the Museum. No interviews will be accommodated after the ceremony.
