Join NASA astronaut Kjell Lindgren, NASA’s “Mohawk Guy,” JPL Systems Engineer Bobak Ferdowski, and NASA Deputy Director of Science Communication Michelle Thaller, as they discuss how NASA is turning science fiction into reality at the panel discussion To Boldly Go With NASA on Saturday, September 3rd from 3:00pm-4:00pm at the Intrepid Museum located at Pier 86 (46th Street and 12th Avenue).

Mars, as a future human destination, is continually getting closer.  Humans now live and work in space full-time on the International Space Station.  Scientists are exploring potentially life-harboring worlds in our solar system and discovering thousands of new planets orbiting distant stars. NASA's Kris Brown will moderate a panel made up of some of NASA's best and brightest—including an astronaut back from 141 days on the International Space Station and some of the top minds working on interplanetary exploration initiatives—all discussing the future of manned space exploration, to Mars and beyond.

Panel is free with general admission to the Museum.  For more information, please visit www.intrepidmuseum.org.
