Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon, will make a special appearance at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, located at Pier 86 (46th Street and 12th Avenue), Manhattan, on Saturday, March 13 from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM.

Armstrong will be joined by other famous aviators and astronauts including Gene Cernan, the last men on the moon, Captain Jim Lovell, Commander of Apollo 13, Bob Gilliland, the first man to ever fly the SR-71 Blackbird, and General Steve Ritchie, the last Air Force Ace, as part of the “Legends of Aerospace” tour.

At 2:00 PM, Liberty Helicopters will drop off the participants on Intrepid’s flight deck.  The pilots and astronauts will discuss their personal experiences at a panel discussion at 4:00 PM and then interact with museum guests afterward.
