
This Saturday, December 18th, the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum will launch the first in a series of themed guided tours. “Salty Talk: The Influence of Sailor Slang on Everyday Language,” will explore the origins of words and colloquialisms used today.
With a twenty guest capacity, “Salty Talk” promises to be an intimate, family-friendly, 90-minute tour that will leave participants saying, “Wow! I did not know that!”
With a limited initial offering, the “Salty Talk” tour will run:
Saturday, December. 18th, 2010 at 10:30am
Saturday, January 8th, 2011 at 10:30am
Saturday, January 22nd, 2011 at 10:30am
