Costumed Star Trek fans support Shatner’s new documentary

EPIX hosted a free screening Saturday night of William Shatner’s new documentary, The Captains, on Intrepid’s flight deck. In the film, William Shatner interviews the many talented actors who have played ‘The Captain’ either on a Star Trek television program or in a motion picture. Over 1,000 Star Trek fans attended the event – many in costume. And William Shatner himself was on hand to address to the crowd and introduce his film.
Prior to the event, Intrepid President Susan Marenoff-Zausner presented Shatner with a custom jacket with patches of both Intrepid and NASA’s Enterprise. Intrepid is the future of home of The Enterprise. |
