Put on your dancing shoes and join the Intrepid Museum for an afternoon of dancing and engagement with music from Intrepid’s years of service (1943-1974), led by Rhythm Break Cares! Featuring a special performance before the Tea Dance! Vocalist Lianne Marie Dobbs and jazz guitar player Sean Harkness, who most recently performed at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Rose Hall, will join us for a special musical performance featuring vintage jazz winter tunes and standards from the Great American Songbook!
Tea Dances take place at the Intrepid Museum on select Wednesdays at 2:00 PM. The December session will begin with a special performance.
Free parking and free transportation to and from the Museum by car service is available for all participants in New York City. Registration for each dance will open one month before the program date. Space is limited.
