Look out! Learn about how Intrepid steered its way through the ocean and its airplanes piloted through the sky. Explore historic spaces and participate in activities that connect to how we find our way today.
The Intrepid Museum offers monthly programs for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These programs take place on select Sundays during regular Museum hours. Families take a guided, virtual tour of the Museum and can participate in art-making activities that everyone can enjoy.
This program will take place over Zoom and include at-home activity packets. Programs are free, but registration is required.
Registration typically opens one month in advance. If you have any questions, please contact access@intrepidmuseum.org.
Access programs at the Intrepid Museum are generously supported by The FAR Fund and the J.E. & Z.B. Butler Foundation. The Museum’s Access programs are supported, in part, by the Institute of Museum and Library Services, public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council, and the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
