Business Development
Business Development Manager

The Intrepid Museum seeks a skilled, detail-oriented and experienced Manager – Business Development to join our team. This role reports directly to the SVP of Business Development. The Manager of Business Development provides project support to the Business Development Department in order to assist the Museum in monetizing its assets and programs.

Education
Per Diem Educators

We are seeking (5) Per Diem Educators for delivering on and off-site programs that make use of the Museum’s collection to engage K12 students, families and adults, including individuals with cognitive, sensory, physical, emotional and behavioral disabilities. Hours are varied, so a flexible schedule is a must.

Exhibits
Exhibition Fabricator

The Exhibition Fabricator plays a critical role in the preparation, fabrication, installation, and daily maintenance of museum exhibitions according to current best practices. This full-time position is responsible for adhering to production schedules, safe shop and worksite practices, to ensure timely and accurate production and installation of exhibition elements.

Jr. AV and Lighting Technician

The Jr. AV and Lighting Technician is fully knowledgeable of advanced exhibition components relating to museum AV and lighting systems, as well as their installation and maintenance needs.  This position must be proficient in museum electrical elements and systems including internet and stand-alone based media interactives.

Jr. Graphic Designer

The Jr. Graphic Designer plays a critical role in the development, fabrication, installation, and maintenance of museum exhibitions according to current best practices. This position is responsible for the graphic design, production, and installation of all print elements. This position is skilled in targeting UI design intent and adjusting graphics to meet audience and design intent.

Group Sales
Group Programs Associate

The Intrepid Museum is currently seeking a part/time Group Programs Associate to provide customer service and administrative assistance at the Group Sales entry in the Welcome Center. The Group Programs Associate also implements Group Sales programming as needed. The Group Programs Associate provides a high level of customer service through comprehensive product knowledge and efficient guest relations.

Protective Services
Protective Services Manager

The Intrepid Museum is seeking a Manager of Protective Services to direct Security Shift Supervisors and officers involved in establishing, promoting, and maintaining the Museum's security and property protection programs. This position reports to the Director of Protective Services.

Public Relations
Public Relations Associate

Intrepid Museum is looking for a full-time Public Relations Associate who will be responsible for assisting in the development and coordination of publicity programs to support media objectives of the institution’s programs, events and business goals. In addition, this role will develop and edit content for the Museum’s various distribution channels.

Security
Security Officer

The Intrepid Museum is currently seeking Security Officers to become an integral part of our team to guard the Museum property against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry.

Special Events
Venue Sales & Events Coordinator

The Intrepid Museum is currently seeking a Venue Sales & Events Coordinator. The Venue & Events Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the production of the Museum’s internal events and some client events as needed. Daily responsibilities are both administrative and operational.

Visitor Services
Box Office Representative (Seasonal/Part-Time)

As a vital part of the Visitor Services team, the Part Time/Seasonal Visitor Services Ambassador, Box Office provides the first impression and the last interaction for visiting guests.

Museum Floor Staff (Seasonal/Part-Time)

As a vital part of the Visitor Services team, the Part Time/Seasonal Visitor Services Ambassador, Floor provides the first impression and the last interaction for visiting guests.

IT
Application and Database Administrator

The Application and Database Administrator is responsible for all enterprise applications, including but not limited to Tessitura, NetSuite, ADP, and all other related database configuration and administration.
