This role reports directly to the Controller and will play a key part in supporting the monthly close process, with a strong focus on account reconciliations, partnership revenue reporting, and payroll-related accounting. The Intrepid Museum is seeking an experienced Benefits Manager to join our Human Resources Department. We are looking for a resourceful, team-focused professional who is a motivated, detailed-oriented individual with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Benefits Manager manages and administers all aspects of benefit programs including ongoing plan evaluation and rollout of new benefits, vendor management, and compliance and communication of benefits programs and policies to current and former employees. The Benefits Manager will also oversee and maintain the integrity of the data in the HRIS System and will liaise with payroll in order to report all employee status changes on a biweekly basis. This role may also assist the VP, Human Resources with generalist functions including recruitment, performance management and employee relations.

This role reports to the Senior Social Media Manager and works closely with special events, communications, creative and video teams to expand the Intrepid Museum’s reach and engagement.
