Topic: Human Landing System
The Human Landing System (HLS) is the spacecraft that will facilitate the landing of astronauts on the lunar surface as part of the Artemis program. Crews will descend from the Lunar Gateway space station in orbit around the Moon down to the lunar surface and back again after collecting samples, performing science experiments, and observing the lunar environment.
