

Inspiration Academy
Inspiration Academy is a professional learning series for K–12 educators, centered on the integration of inclusive approaches to STEM and history. The program supports all learners while fostering a sense of belonging in the classroom and joy in learning. Its primary focus is to sustain and engage BIPOC teachers, as well as teachers in majority BIPOC schools, during their first five (5) years in the profession.
The Museum offers a variety of opportunities and formats to refresh, get inspired, learn from experts and network with colleagues. As a New York State Education Department-approved Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) provider.

Join the Intrepid Museum for a day long professional development session focused on aerospace education and the exploration of aviation and spaceflight. Discover how concepts of aerospace can be incorporated into the classroom through interactive workshops and Museum tours.
The featured keynote speaker will be Sarah "Cooper" Gillis, Mission Specialist, astronaut and Senior Space Operations Engineer at SpaceX.
This course provides 4 CTLE credits. Registered participants will receive detailed program information prior to the programming date. Light breakfast and lunch refreshments will be served.
Registration Fee: $10.50
This program is open to all New York State educators, including paraprofessionals.
