Inspiration Academy
Inspiration Academy is a professional learning series for K–12 educators, centered on the integration of inclusive approaches to STEM and history. The program supports all learners while fostering a sense of belonging in the classroom and joy in learning. Its primary focus is to sustain and engage BIPOC teachers, as well as teachers in majority BIPOC schools, during their first five (5) years in the profession.
As part of Inspiration Academy, the Museum will host five (5) virtual programs that discuss topics focused on centering joy, belonging and community in the classroom. Sessions will take place on the second Tuesday of each month from 6:00 to 7:30pm EST between January and May.
