Intrepid Gears Up for Coast Guard Appreciation Day August 1st

Intrepid’s Summer Salute to Heroes continues on Sunday with Coast Guard Appreciation Day. All Coast Guard with proper ID get free admission to Intrepid and their accompanying family members receive a 25% discount.

The weekend is full of activities, including search and rescue demonstrations, interactive displays, a performance from the Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 22-7 Band, and a Helo landing on the Flight Deck of Intrepid. In addition, tours will be given on the USCG Cutter Sailfish.
