On Thursday, November 20, the Intrepid Museum will host its annual Unstoppable Women, a fundraising event designed to inspire, engage and connect the next generation of STEM pioneers. This year’s event will explore cybersecurity and the women who play a critical role in safeguarding infrastructure, data and innovation. Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception, seated dinner and a dynamic panel discussion with leading female executives and thought leaders. The event will take place on the historic hangar deck of Intrepid.
A distinguished panel of cybersecurity leaders will share insights on the challenges, opportunities and evolving threat landscape across sectors. Panelists include:
- Alicia Lowery Rosenbaum, Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Salesforce, where she leads the Global Technology and Cybersecurity Legal groups, advising on data protection, artificial intelligence, intellectual property and cyber risk for one of the world’s most trusted platforms.
- Rina Niles, Chief Operating Officer at Cyphlens, overseeing strategic operations, go-to-market strategy, government relations and technology partnerships to deliver cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions for public and private sector clients.
- Sarah Gosler, Managing Director and Head of Cyber Human Defense at Wells Fargo, a globally recognized expert in human risk management and people-centric cyber strategy, specializing in behavioral defense, threat simulations and resilience training for the financial sector.
A moderated conversation will explore how these leaders navigated their career trajectories, built influence within complex technical fields and are shaping the future of cyber defense.
“Unstoppable Women amplifies the voices of women leaders who are redefining what security, innovation and resilience look like in the digital age,” said Susan Marenoff-Zausner, president of the Intrepid Museum. “Cybersecurity is not just a technology issue — it is a people issue, an infrastructure issue, and a national priority. We’re proud to convene these remarkable trailblazers who are protecting systems, empowering teams and paving the way for the next generation of defenders.”
"Cybersecurity's future is here: it includes a promising strategy that seamlessly integrates mature technical safeguards with a robust human defense, protecting both technology and the critical human element," said Sarah Gosler, Managing Director and Head of Cyber Human Defense at Wells Fargo. “I’m looking forward to a powerful conversation that covers my dual passions of fostering a firm-wide, security-smart culture to secure the new 'psychological frontline' and empowering women – and others – to uncover and use their unique capabilities to lead in cyber and other adjacent fields as we strengthen our collective defense."
In addition to the panel, the Intrepid Museum will present the Intrepid Museum Alexis Marion Unstoppable Woman Leadership Award to Cheryl McKissack Daniel, President and CEO of McKissack & McKissack, the oldest minority- and woman-owned design and construction firm in the nation. A fifth-generation builder, civil engineer and author of The Black Family Who Built America (Simon & Schuster, August 2025), Cheryl carries forward a 230-year legacy while shaping the future of infrastructure, equity and generational wealth. Under her leadership, McKissack has managed more than $50 billion in construction projects, including transformational work at JFK International Airport, LaGuardia Airport, Columbia University, Coney Island Hospital Campus and the MTA — the largest transportation system in the country.
“This honor celebrates the builders—past and present—who turn vision into infrastructure and purpose into progress,” said Cheryl McKissack Daniel. “At McKissack & McKissack, we’re not just building projects; we’re building pathways for women, for Black families, and for future innovators. I’m unstoppable because I know my purpose, and because I believe true innovation happens when everyone has a hand in building the world we share.”
The evening will begin with a networking cocktail reception at 6:00pm, followed by a seated dinner and panel program at 7:00pm. Proceeds from the event will support the Intrepid Museum’s educational programs, which reaches 100,000 students across New York City and beyond with hands-on STEM learning rooted in history, innovation and leadership.
Attendees will include leaders across finance, technology, aerospace, construction and venture sectors. Individual tickets and table packages are available, with discounted options for young professionals under 45.
