Ceremony on November 11 to Feature Wreath-Laying Tribute in the Hudson River
Join the Intrepid Museum for a heartfelt tribute honoring our nation’s dedicated service members and their invaluable contributions to history on Tuesday, November 11, from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Hangar Deck at the Museum (46th Street and 12th Avenue) in Hudson River Park. This annual Veterans Day ceremony will honor the sacrifices made by brave men and women in the armed forces. Veterans will be attending the event. The event is open to all Museum ticketholders and will also be live-streamed on Facebook and YouTube.
Remarks will be made by James Hendon, Commissioner of the New York City Department of Veterans' Services; and Susan Marenoff-Zausner, President of the Intrepid Museum.
A commemorative wreath will be laid in the Hudson River in honor of United States veterans and former crew members of Intrepid.
Museum entrance is free to all U.S. veterans, active and retired military.
