Join the Intrepid Museum for a Memorial Day ceremony honoring the men and women of the United States Armed Forces who have given their lives in defense of our nation. Civic and military leaders will offer remarks and join in a special wreath-laying ceremony in honor of the fallen. The ceremony concludes with veterans unfurling a 100-foot U.S. flag, the playing of Taps, and a flyover by Navy fighter jets.

Fleet Week: Memorial Day
to commemorate the brave souls who gave their lives for our freedom, for our nation, and for our way of life. I am honored to be here and join you today to celebrate their memory. those brave soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines, coast guardmen, and guardians with a sworn obligation and duty to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. It is a day of remembrance for those who gave their all and service to our country while dawning the cloth of our nation. So, on behalf of the over 2,300 members of the sea services here with me, thank you.
