About this event

Join the Intrepid Museum in partnership with New York Science Hall (NYSCI) for a 90-minute virtual professional development session focused on the impact of hands-on experimentation and critical analysis using phenomena and inquiry-based learning. Participants will examine NYSCI’s space-age rockets, the Intrepid Museum’s space shuttle orbiter, and Enterprise and discuss ethical issues with space travel. The session will also include discussions on how engineers, designers, and makers collaborate to solve problems through a hands-on workshop that can be utilized in the classroom.

This course provides 1.5 CTLE credits. Registered participants will receive a program link and other information prior to the programming date. Materials are not provided. Virtual check-in will begin at 5:45pm EST.

Registration ends Friday, February 7, 2025, at 3:00pm EST. An email with programming information will be sent on Monday, February 10, 2025.
