Inspiration Academy: Lens into Space

-

For Teachers and Educators

About This Event

Launched in 1990, the Hubble Space Telescope is the first of NASA’s Great Observatories, or space-based observatories. Orbiting 350 miles above Earth’s surface, Hubble has the vantage point and advanced technology which has provided scientists and astronomers with important information about space.

Join the Intrepid Museum for a 90-minute virtual professional development session focused on the innovations of the Hubble Space Telescope and its ability to allow humans to further explore space.

This program provides 1.5 CTLE credits. Registered participants will receive a program link and program information 1-2 days prior to the programming date. Virtual check-in will begin at 5:45pm ET.

Space is limited. Registration ends Friday, February 27, at 3:00pm ET.

This virtual program is open to 25 registered participants who will each be eligible for a $75 stipend upon completion of the program.
