Join fellow current and former service members for an exploration of the exhibition A View from the Deep: The Submarine Growler & the Cold War. Curator Jessica Williams will share stories from the submarine’s former crew members, illuminating this unique vessel’s history and its secret mission. Following the presentation, attendees can continue the conversation over a catered dinner.
- Accessibility Note: The curator presentation will take place on the pier with amplification. A View from the Deep: The Submarine Growler & the Cold War is fully accessible. The submarine Growler is a narrow, one-way experience that requires the use of stairs and stepping through raised hatches. Any guest who wants to go through Growler is required to go through a practice hatch without assistance first.
About Intrepid After Hours: Intrepid After Hours invites military veterans and service members to experience the Intrepid Museum at night. Explore the Museum without the crowds, and then join peers for conversation, exploration, and a catered dinner.
