Families, organized youth groups and their chaperones can stay overnight onboard Intrepid and find out what it takes to live, eat and sleep aboard an aircraft carrier. For kids age 5-17

Our after-hours adventure includes:

Dinner, snack and breakfast
Flashlight guided tours of the flight deck
Unlimited simulator rides in our XD Experience
Hands-on educational activities
Intrepid patch and branded water bottle for each youth participant.
60-day return pass to the Museum for everyone

Program Hours:
6:15 pm - 8:00 am (participants should arrive by 6:00 pm)

Cots and sleeping bags set up on the Hangar Deck for an overnight.

Upgrade your experience with the Admirals Package. Includes a self-guided tour of Growler, the ability to explore the captain and navigation bridges, early entry to the Museum, and the option to sleep in Intrepid’s Great Hall with floor-to-ceiling views of the Hudson River. Admiral packages are open to groups of 30 or more.

Only one Admirals package is available per date.

Price: $125 per person

Birthday Parties

Have a Sleepover Birthday Party! Our Birthday Package includes cup cakes, pizza, paper goods, a private room for dinner, balloons on the birthday child’s cot, and a special birthday shout-out. A minimum of 12 people is required for ages 5 and up.

Only one birthday package is available per date.

Price: $145 per person.
