The U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Vincent Danz arrives at the Intrepid Museum this week and will be open for free public visitation from Wednesday through Saturday.
Named in honor of Vincent Danz — a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, NYPD officer and U.S. Coast Guard Reserve Port Security Specialist who lost his life responding to the September 11 attacks — the cutter recognizes extraordinary service and sacrifice.
Visitors will have the opportunity to step aboard the Fast Response Cutter while it is docked at Pier 86.
