For the first time, the World Space Party is coming aboard Intrepid!
Join the Intrepid Museum and Yuri’s Night for an unforgettable evening celebrating humanity’s past, present, and future in space! Party beneath the Space Shuttle Enterprise aboard the historic aircraft carrier Intrepid, which served as a recovery vessel for NASA’s Mercury and Gemini missions, as we bring together space, science, art, and culture for one incredible night.
Come dressed in your best space-inspired attire as you dance the night away with live DJs and explore interactive science experiences and art throughout the Museum. Meet astronauts, scientists, and other special guests from across the space community, learn about what’s happening in spaceflight today, and experience Intrepid’s historic collection after hours.
Yuri’s Night is a global celebration of human spaceflight, held each year in honor of two milestones that occurred on April 12: Yuri Gagarin becoming the first human in space in 1961 and the first launch of the Space Shuttle in 1981. Each year, Yuri’s Night events around the world bring people together to celebrate space through science, music, art and culture.
Come for the space. Stay for the party.
