Aerospace: Where Aviation and Space take Flight!

Join the Intrepid Museum for a day long professional development session focused on aerospace education and the exploration of aviation and spaceflight. Discover how concepts of aerospace can be incorporated into the classroom through interactive workshops and Museum tours.

The featured keynote speaker will be Sarah "Cooper" Gillis, Mission Specialist, astronaut and Senior Space Operations Engineer at SpaceX.


Sarah "Cooper" Gillis was responsible for helping create SpaceX’s astronaut training program, including the development of mission-specific curriculum and training execution for both NASA and commercial astronauts who fly aboard the Dragon spacecraft.  

This course provides 4 CTLE credits. Registered participants will receive detailed program information prior to the programming date. Light breakfast and lunch refreshments will be served.
