
NEW YORK (October 22) - The Intrepid Museum will present its third annual Coding Together Mini-Hackathon on Saturday, November 1, from 10:30am to 4:30pm. Students in grades 6-12 are welcome to join the free event designed to inspire and educate the next generation of computer programmers.
Whether you're a beginner looking to start your coding journey or an experienced coder aiming to enhance your skills, the Mini Hackathon welcomes participants of all levels. The event will bring together young innovators to solve challenges using various coding languages, collaboration and creativity. Participants can sign up in groups or join individually to explore the world of programming. A lite breakfast, snacks and lunch will be provided for all participants. PLEASE NOTE – participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Throughout the school year, the Intrepid Museum provides teen audiences with programming that supports and expands school-based learning and student understanding of STEM subjects through an integrated, multi-modal approach.
