Does the Museum allow photography or videotaping? |
Personal cameras and video are allowed. Selfie sticks (or any other camera-extension devices) and professional equipment, including tripods, are not. If you would like to arrange a photo shoot or use any images associated with the Museum, please contact our Public Relations Department at aallen@intrepidmuseum.org

Does the Museum offer tours? |
Tours are currently unavailable.

How long will it take to view all of the exhibits in the Museum? |
Plan to spend two to three hours at the Museum.

I have lost something at the Museum. What do I do? |
Please fill out this form. We cannot respond to all inquiries, but we will contact you by email or telephone if your item has been found or turned in. We will verify that the item is yours and provide instructions on how it may be returned to you. |
Is the Museum wheelchair accessible? |
Because of Intrepid’s status as a National Historic Landmark, most of the Museum is fully accessible by wheelchair. Areas of the Museum that are not accessible by wheelchair include Intrepid’s island, fo’c’sle, gallery deck, submarine Growler and Concorde. All restrooms and dining areas are fully accessible, as well as the flight deck, hangar deck and mess deck.
The Museum does not have wheelchairs available for public use. Lightweight stools are available to borrow from the Information Desk.

Does the Museum offer bag and coat check facilities? |
The Museum does not offer bag and coat check facilities. All belongings, including bags, strollers and luggage must remain with visitors at all times. |
What are the dining options at the Museum? |
Intrepid Marketplace and Aviator Grill offer menus with classic New York flavor. Choose from freshly prepared pizzas, sandwiches, wraps, salads and soups, including gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options.
Intrepid Marketplace is located on the mess deck of the ship, as well as on the pier. Aviator Grill is located on the second floor of our Welcome Center.
Vending machines are located on the pier and the flight deck.

Does the museum have a nursing room? |
The museum has a room designated for nursing moms and caregivers, who need a private space to feed infants and young children. Please visit the Information Desk for access.

Can I bring artifacts to donate to the Museum? |
The Museum is grateful for donations of artifacts, photos, letters and other memorabilia. If you have artifacts to donate, we can work with you on shipping the items to the Museum. Please refrain from bringing items on your visit, as we do not accept artifacts in person. More information about artifact donations can be found here.

Do NYC residents receive a discount on admission? |
Yes. NYC Residents receive 50% off general Museum admission when presenting a valid government-issued photo ID with a printed address, or a current utility or mortgage statement with an address within the five boroughs and name that matches their photo ID. Discount is eligible for all those in qualifying households. |

Does the Museum have a visitor parking lot? |
The Museum does not have a visitor parking lot. We are neither affiliated with any parking garage, nor do we validate parking tickets.
