The Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum is thrilled to announce it’s newest (and perhaps most luxurious) guided tour, an extended two hour version of “Concorde: A Supersonic Story” aboard Concorde G-BOAD, the fastest commercial aircraft to ever cross the Atlantic.
Guests begin their journey with a continental breakfast under the Concorde overlooking the Hudson River. There, a tour guide will transport the group back to a special time in aviation history. Visitors will learn about the technological advancements which made supersonic passenger travel possible, and why it is no longer available today.
Offering guests the rare opportunity to enjoy the comfort of Concorde’s luxurious first class cabin, as well as an up close look inside her sophisticated flight deck, this tour will satisfy all audiences, from aviation beginners to enthusiasts.
Recommended for visitors ages 10 and above, this tour grants early admission into the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum Complex and includes a souvenir Intrepid Museum ticket.
